These capiz shells are delicate, so please unwrap each bag with care! It is expected that over time these delicate shells can break off and you'll need to shorten your curtain a bit. This is easy to do. If a shell breaks in the middle of a strand, remove the broken shell and reattach the rest of the strand. That strand will just be one shell shorter. You can remove one shell from the rest of the curtain to keep them the same length, or enjoy the look as-is. They're so stunning and sound so lovely,
Each capiz shell curtain is 35.5 inches wide and 72 inches long with 12 strands of delicate pearlescent white natural capiz shells, which also are called windowpane oyster shells. Each shell is about 2 inches in diameter. A hole is at the top and bottom to connect each shell with a jump ring. This makes it easy to change the number of strands or add more capiz curtains.
