Description

Two White Metal Circles Floral Frame "Double Poppy", 2 Round Arch Frames on 1 Base, 5.5'H and 6.5'H Circles, Modern Metal Background Display (Small Circle is 67" Large Circle is 79")

If you need a grand backdrop frame to create a visionary display that is sure to be the envy of all event planners ever, our Double Poppy Whited Metal Circles Backdrop Display is the frame you need! With 2 huge rings attached to 1 base, there's plenty of potential to create a masterpiece like no other.  Double Poppy is sleek and modern; the ideal backdrop setting for any party, wedding or event. The large circle is 6 1/2 feet tall, the small circle is 5 1/2 feet tall and the entire display is 6 1/2 feet wide with a depth of 11" (front to back measurement). The base plate is 19 3/4" wide by 11 3/4" deep and both circles bolt to the plate.

The minimalistic design is clean and chic, allowing your floral creations to stand out. The hollow channel tubing is square and is 3/4" wide.  The large circle is actually 4 arcs that insert into each other while the small circle consists of 3 arcs. Please go to the end of this description for assembly tips.

Circles are a universal symbol representing totality, wholeness, eternity and an ongoing energy so it's only natural that these 'wedding rings' begin the basic framework for creating memorable background accent pieces. Be subtle or make a major statement; either way, it's easy to attach silk flower sprays or wrap the frames with Silk Flower Garlands, Faux Greenery Vines or Huge Leaf Garlands. Hanging glass candle holders, beaded crystal garlands, butterflies, tulle and balloons are other materials that can be incorporated into your design. Many of our flower garlands are completely flexible or have bendable wire, making them a cinch to attach to the frames. A quick way to hang or attach accessories is by using Magnet Hooks which can be moved or placed exactly where you need them!

We offer this identical frame in gold!

Base Weights: Many customers like to add weight to the bases so that they do not tip over. Some customers use bricks and hide them with florals, and some customers use sandbags. You can even use play sand inside of ziplock bags! It is very easy to hide the bricks or sandbags, especially when greens are involved. You can also disguise bricks or ziplock bags using black or green duct tape!

Foam or Foam Free Installation of Florals: There are many mechanics to use when adding florals to this structure. You can use Foam or make a Foam-Free design using chicken wire. There are some tutorials online that you can check out. our friend Sarah Campbell from Intrigue Designs also teaches a class on this.

Three Different Techniques shared by Vi Nguyen of Picotte Flowers:  Attach dry foam then insert greenery on it, water tubed all my blooms. It help a lot with the weight 2. Wrap chicken wire around, insert green cause it doesn't need water source during an event. Water tube my blooms. You will still need some weights. 3. I once used wet foam, lots of weight, still it tilted.

ASSEMBLY TIPS:  The large circle is in the back and will attach to the base using the brackets on the corners and the small circle will attach to the single bracket in the front of the base.

Large circle with 4 arcs (2 people make it easier):  Find the arc that has 2 holes, 19" apart, and using 2 bolts & nuts, attach it to the back corner brackets on the base plate.  Find the arc that has 2 holes, 12" apart and on the right hand side, insert it into the bottom piece.  Insert the remaining 2 arcs.

Small circle with 3 arcs: Find the arc that has 2 holes and using 1 bolt & nut, attach it to the front bracket on the base plate while insuring that the upper hole is on the right hand side and lines up with the hole on the large circle. Insert the remaining 2 arcs.

Use the remaining 2 bolts to connect the 2 circles together with the stabalizer bar.
