This is an entirely handmade item. Therefore, there may be slight color and strand length variations from one curtain to another. The overall look will be as depicted in the showcased images, but even if several are ordered at the same time, please allow for slight color and strand length variations that are inherent to these handmade curtains.
The wood headrail is 35 1/2" wide by 1" long and it perfectly complements the color. There are 2 eyelets attached to the top of the rail and you can literally pull this out of the box and hang it! There are 36 strands with about 1" between the strands. Each strand is 77" long so with the headrail, the total hanging length is 78" long or just over 6'! The strands are relaxed and pliable so they will not tangle. The strand design consists of 2 interlocking loops, then a knot and this pattern repeats for the entire length. To shorten this curtain, find the length you want then cut the lower of the 2 interlocking loops. You could even trim it in a chevron, zig-zag pattern. Since the headrail is wood, it can also be trimmed to size. If you need to cover a larger area simply hang 2 next to each other.
Use this Paper Curtain as a window covering, room divider, accentuate a wall or use as an alternative to a closet door. This curtain is ideal for tight spots where a traditional door just doesn't work. it's easy to tie back and since the strands are so flexible, you can place your tieback as high or as low as you need.
