7' 2" Tall x 8' Wide Gold Half Circle Wedding Arch "Whirl", Metal Background Display
Our Half Circle Gold Metal Frame "Whirl" is a circular arch with contemporary flair that makes an ideal backdrop for a wedding ceremony, a celebratory party or to add an elegant design element to any event! This frame stands 7' 2" tall by 8' wide and the minimalistic design allows your floral creations to stand out. "Whirl" is comprised of 4 arcs that insert into each other and it sits on 2 legs that are 23 1/2" long, constructed of 3/4" hollow channel tubing. This frame weighs 7.4 lbs.
Due to the lightweight feature of this frame, we advise using it as a backdrop in a low traffic area and it MUST be stabilized by putting weights on the legs. The Whirl is designed to be a basic form so if you want a backdrop that can handle a lot of florals and greenery, we suggest choosing an alternate backdrop from our line of Backdrop Arches.
Circles are a universal symbol representing totality, wholeness, eternity and an ongoing energy so it's only natural that this partial golden ring begins the basic framework for creating memorable background accent pieces. There is a ring screw where the arcs meet which can easily be covered with silk flower sprays or wrap the frames with Silk Flower Garlands, faux greenery vines or huge leaf garlands. Hanging glass candle holders, beaded crystal strands, butterflies, tulle and balloons are other materials that can be incorporated into your design. Many of our flower garlands are completely flexible or have bendable wire, making them a cinch to attach to the frames.
Base Weights: Many customers like to add weight to the bases so that they do not tip over. Some customers use bricks and hide them with florals, and some customers use sandbags. You can even use play sand inside of ziplock bags! It is very easy to hide the bricks or sandbags, especially when greens are involved. You can also disguise bricks or ziplock bags using black or green duct tape!
