How to Measure for Flower & Greenery Walls

Flower Wall or Greenery Wall pages now includes a calculator to help you determine how many panels you need. Just go to any of our Flower Wall or Greenery Walls pages and you will find the calculator. The measurements are different on most panels, so this calculator is very helpful!

Each Flower and Greenery Wall has this box on it (see red arrow). Click on the Calculator Box.

This Box Will Pop Up. Enter Your Length and Width (or Height and Width) into the box. The box will populate the quantity that you need based on the measurements of your walls and the measurements of the particular panel that you are looking at. The website will automatically calculate how many you need and enter that quantity into the box on the item page.

Note: we ALWAYS suggest chosing a 5 or 10% overage "just in case". It's safer to be over than to be under when you're completing a project like this. We also recommend this because if you do end up needing more panels, there can be color variations between batches for materials like these. We will be sure that your original order all matches in hue and tone, but cannot guarantee the same for subsequent orders of the same product (though we are very careful with our QC!)

If you don't want to use our calculators that are on each item page, you can also use this 3-Step Formula:

Figure out the square inches of your space to cover

To cover a space that is 10 feet wide x 8 feet tall:

Multiply 10' x 12" = 120"

Multiply 8' x 12" = 96"

Multiply 120" x 96" = 11520" (this is the number of inches you need to cover)
Figure out the square inches of the Flower Wall Panel you like

If the ShopWildThings Flower Wall panel grid size is 19" x 25", you will multiply 19 x 25 = 475 square inches.
Figure out how many panels you'll need

Divide the square inches of the space that you need to cover by the square inches of the panel that you're interested in. In our example, we need to cover 11520 square inches. 11520 divided by 475 is 24.25.

In this case, we would recommend purchasing 25 flower panels to cover your 10' x 8' space.
