Elizondo Wedding - Decor Ideas
We recently had the priveledge of Decorating a wedding for a very special ShopWildThings client. We used mostly items available here at ShopWildThings.com!
This was a simple and elegant wedding and the bride wanted neutral, earthy elements to complement her theme.
For the tables, we used our natural birdcages and placed Mason Jars with candles inside of each cage. We also used some lace medallions underneath accented with cut up pieces of our rolls of beads.
To create an intimate feel around the perimeter of the large room, we used our natural birch trees and hung strands of butterflies on them. We also added some hanging candle holders with an Acolyte Remote Control Submersible and moss inside to add some lighting to the trees. When it came time to go to the reception, we just ran over with our handy remote controls and turned on the lights in the candle holders with the touch of a button!
Our bendable trees in pots were used on the tables as well to add height and interest with a little bit of light. Again, we placed strands of butterflies in the potted trees and moss-filled hanging candle holders had Acolytes tucked inside.
Along the wedding aisle, simple lanterns were hung from shepherd's hooks. Use the "Hanging Candle Holders" link to see our lanterns.
For the reception table, we collected river rocks and invited guests to write on the rocks using paint pens. The rocks will then be kept in a jar by the newly marrieds and treasures for a lifetime!
